We are now inviting entries for our forthcoming Yorkshire Masters & Makers Sale – an auction dedicated to the artistry, craftsmanship, and creative legacy of Yorkshire’s finest makers.
This specialist sale will celebrate the county’s rich design heritage, from Yorkshire Oak furniture and the celebrated Mouseman and other ‘critter’ workshops, to studio pottery, fine art, and craft by some of Yorkshire’s most admired potters, sculptors, and furniture makers. We’re seeking works by Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson, Colin Almack (Beaverman), Wilf Hutchinson (Squirrelman), Alan Grainger (Foxman), Stan Dodds and David Bowman, alongside studio ceramics by makers such as David Lloyd Jones, Mick and Sally Casson, Wally Keeler, and John Ward, and artworks or decorative pieces with a strong Yorkshire connection or provenance.
From handcrafted oak and studio pottery to paintings, sculpture, and decorative objects that tell the story of Yorkshire’s creative excellence, this sale will showcase the region’s ongoing influence on British craftsmanship and design.
If you have items by Yorkshire artists, potters, or makers, or pieces with a story rooted in the region, we’d love to hear from you. Just fill out our quick form to start the process and one of the team will be in touch. You can also reach out directly by phone or email at mail@dugglebys.com | 01723 507111.
